WA:Danger not over in fire suburbs

Residents who fled a fire that destroyed more than 60 homes in the Perth hills have
been warned it could be some time before they're allowed back into the danger zone.

The Roleystone-Kelmscott fire is now under control .. but the Fire and Emergency Services
Authority says properties are still at risk of ember attack .. there's a real danger from
falling power poles and trees .. and roads remain closed.

Evacuees were told at a committee meeting yesterday which homes were gone .. and many
faced another night or more sheltering at a sports …
