RATS EXTEND HOT STREAK.(SPORTS)

ALBANY -- Holiday traffic between Albany and East Rutherford has been heavier than normal this week, courtesy of the New Jersey Devils.

Two ailing goaltenders forced the Devils to make 11th-hour raids of their American Hockey League affiliate, yet the Albany River Rats seem to be thriving in the aftermath.

Frederic Henry, recalled from Raleigh of the East Coast league to fill in, played his second straight strong game as the River Rats extended their unbeaten streak to 11 with a 5-1 trouncing of the Worcester Ice Cats.

Albany lost veteran goalie Peter Sidorkiewicz just prior to Tuesday night's game when New Jersey starter Martin Brodeur came down with the flu. Rich …
