Qld: Treasury casino evacuated

Police have evacuated the Treasury Casino in central Brisbane after a man entered the
building, told staff he was armed, and demanded money.

A police spokesman says the man entered the casino at the corner of Queen and George
streets just after 8pm (AEST).

The spokesman says police haven't determined if the man is armed and have evacuated
patrons as a precaution.

Police are attempting to negotiate with the man.
