Vic: Five killed in Victorian bushfire = 4

CFA spokesman John Tindall said two holiday homes and a utility were burned in the fire.

Before a wind change tonight the fire bore down on Linton as more than 200 firefighters, 42
fire trucks and five aircraft struggled to bring it under control.

Strong winds dropped earlier in the night before another change moved through.

There were a number of flare-ups following the change but all were kept under control, Mr
Tindall told AAP.
