TWO men were killed and six others seriously injured in what appears to have been a gang-related drive-by shooting in Mitchell's Plain early yesterday.
Shortly after midnight a group of gunmen in a black VW Golf stopped at the Lentegeur civic centre in Merrydale Road, where a party was under way, and opened fire on the people standing at the entrance.
Ricardo Wagner, 37, from Lentegeur, was wounded in the head and Brian Joubert, 49, from Bonteheuwel, in the chest and stomach. They died at the scene.
The six other people wounded were taken to nearby hospitals, some in a critical condition.
