The 27 European Union leaders meet next week to pick the club's first ever president and new foreign policy chief from a handful of unnamed candidates, mostly current or former premiers, Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt said Wednesday.
He declined to name any but told reporters at the European Parliament, "We got more names than we have jobs to offer."
Reinfeldt, whose country now holds the EU presidency, called a Nov. 19 dinner summit at which the EU leaders must pick an EU president and foreign policy chief _ two posts created by a new EU treaty.
